Code of Ethics & Child
Safeguarding Course
Rochestown Park Hotel, Douglas, Cork
6:30 - 9:30 pm, Monday, December 14th 2015

Athletics Ireland are holding a Code of Ethics & Child Safeguarding
course on Monday night, the 14th of December, between 6:30pm and 9:30pm
in the Rochestown Park Hotel. This is a compulsory
certified course for all sports leaders, valid for three years, and is
only €5 per person, which will be collected on the night.
The course is accredited by the Irish Sports Council and a
certification of attendance will be given to all participants.
If you would like to take part, please turn up on the night or email
kieronstout@athleticsireland.ie
As Child Welfare becomes an increasingly important element in our
sport, it would be ideal if all County Boards and Clubs could have
their Child Welfare Officers present, or at least one representative,
so that all Boards and Clubs are up to date with all relevant
information.
