"This "7 Mile Road Race" is in memory of three local athletes from the
parish - Patsy O'Flynn, Bob Hales & Bill Nolan. All former athletes
of Knocknacurra AC (just outside of Bandon).
Further details of the great achievements by these athletes will be
posted shortly.
This is an AAI Registered Event and passes the Homesteads of Patsy
O'Flynn & Bob Hales and within 1km of Bill Nolan's home.
A Perpetual "Memorial Cup" will be presented to the first person home
along with many prizes in different age categories !
Entry fee is €10, and the option of on-line registration will be
available shortly."
