Start of 3k Running Route
The start of the 3k Running Route is by the Inniscarra Bridge entrance
to the Regional Park. The first sign is by the Soccer pitches and
the final sign is upriver from the Weir. The route is easily
navigated by following the blue signs. This 3k route makes the
most of its scenic setting. The terrain is a mixture of tarmac, gravel
and track pathways, taking in the Soccer pitches, two pedestrian
bridges and passes by the canals and the Weir before culminating with
wonderful views of the River Lee.
