Leevale Women retain National Senior Road Relays Title, While St.
Finbarr's Men take Silver in Masters M50
Leevale Take Senior Women Gold

Leevale women's team of sisters Carol and Michelle Finn, and
Lizzie Lee retained their title, by a margin of 31 seconds, and a time
of 20:50, from a strong Crusaders AC team. As she did last year, Carol
took the first first, one lap,
leg in 5:011, giving Leevale a lead of just two seconds. Lizzie
Lee took the
second, two lap, leg, running 10:38 and extended the lead to eight
seconds. Michelle Finn then ran the one lap
anchor leg, in 5:01

St Finbarr's M50 Team take Silver

St. Finbarr's Masterrs M50 team of Michael Murphy, Cathal O'Connell and Ken Devine,
took the M50 Silver medals, for the second consecutive year, in a time of 20:55, thirty seconds behind
hosts Raheny AC's 'A' team. Michael Murphy ran the first leg in
5:23. Cathal O'Connell ran the
second, two lap, leg in 10:25, while Ken Devine
took the anchor leg, running 5:07.

Senior Men
Host Club Raheny Shamrock AC took the Senior Men's title, in a
time of 37:26, followed by Ennis Track AC, 37:44, just one second ahead
of KCK AC. East Cork AC's team of James McCarthy, 9:28, Diarmuid
Collins, 4:56, Michael Harty, 14:35 and Tim O'Donoghue, 9:47, with an
aggregate time of 38:46, had to settle for sixth place, in a very
competitive race.
