The road race starts at 20:15, while the walk begins at 19:00
The race starts on Clara Road and the first three miles are quite flat and fast. As can be seen on the Course Elevation Profile, below, there is a short, slight incline, between mile 3-4, near Drishane Castle, after which the course heads back into the town, as in the past two years, and finishes with a nice downhill stretch.
