Race Day FAQ - September 22nd 2024


1. I Entered last week, or early this week. Will I receive my Race number in the Post?


2. I Haven't Entered Yet. Is it too Late?


3. When will Online Entries Close?


4. I'm to Collect my Number on Race Day, Sunday September 22nd. Where do I go to Collect it?

6. Where is City Hall?



1. I Entered last week, or early this week. Will I receive my Race number in the Post?
The entry cut-off date to receive Numbers by Post is Wednesday September 11th. Entries received after this will need to pick up their Number on Sunday Morning (22nd)

2. I Haven't Entered Yet. Is it too Late?
No, you can enter in three ways
a) Online entries are still open and will close at 6pm on Friday September 15th
b) From 10am on Race Day, (CASH or Card - €25, €15 for Under 16s) Sunday September 17th, at City Hall

4. I'm to Collect my Number on Race Day, Sunday September 22nd. Where do I go to Collect it?
Collect your number at the Number Collection Desk inside City Hall, from 10am. Please note your race Number, from your confirmation email, and quote this when collecting, as this will speed up the process

Replacement Numbers (€5 - CASH or Card) will be available from the Help Desk, At City Hall, from 10am on Sunday

City Hall is located on Albert Quay, between Parnell and Clontarf Bridges, and is approx. 500m from the Start Line

About Us

Cork Athletics County Board is a constituent member of Athletics Ireland. Cork Athletics is the governing body, administering athletics, track and field (T&F), cross-country (XC) and running in county Cork. The Board comprises elected representatives of constituent athletic clubs and running clubs. Cork County Board AAI organises Championship races and competition, including road, track & field (T&F) and Cross-country (XC), at junior, juvenile, senior and masters levels, and selects representation for the county. In addition, training and education is provided for coaches and officials. The Board also regulates the Athletics Ireland race/event permit (licence) process for county Cork.
