Liscarroll AC Open Sports - Event Details

Medals for all Boys & Girls who were Born in 2020, 2019, 2018 & Tiny Tots in 40m Sprint Races  
Trophies for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd. places, in all other Individual Events
Separate Events for Boys & Girls in individual events. AAI OPEN PERMIT GRANTED
No TENTS. Tents with external tie ropes, NOT Allowed on the inside Field Area, in the interests of Safety

There is No Charge for Relays
Mixed 4x100m. (May be 4 girls 0r Max.2 Boys per team).

 Ages U10, U12, U14, U16.

Family Relay: 3x100m Members of one Family must include 1 Parent plus 2 Children U15.
Senior Open Mixed Medley Relay Max.2 Boys/Men per Team            1 x 400; 1x200; 1x300; 1x100

FIELD EVENTS; ATHLETES MAY MOVE UP 1 AGE, to compete in an event which is not in their own age group
SENIOR EVENTS;   are confined to athletes Born 2008 or before.  Younger athletes born 2009 or later  have their own events
TURBO JAVELIN; must be thrown according to normal Javelin Rules i.e. One (1) Throw per round, Over Arm, & Must Land Point First

                                SPRINTS - ATHLETES MAY ONLY COMPETE IN 1 (one) SPRINT, but may not compete in 2 Long Jump or 2 Shot Put Events. e.g. 1 long Jump and 1 Shot Putt


RELAYS ** MIXED RELAYS - BOYS & GIRLS MAY HAVE A MAXIMUM OF 2 BOYS ONLY PER TEAM, & / OR MAY BE ALL GIRLS.   
NO RESTRICTIONS ON AGES, ONCE EVERYONE ON THE TEAM IS BELOW THE SPECIFIED AGE  

Open Family Relay: 3x100m A Family must consist of 1 Parent & 2 Children U15 (Born 2010) or Later & Be From Same Family
Mixed Open Senior Medley Relay; Open to any 4 Runners who are prepared to make up a team. Max 2 Boys/men per Team. 1st Leg - 400m; 2nd Leg - 200m; 3rd Leg -300m; 4th Leg - 100m

About Us

Cork Athletics County Board is a constituent member of Athletics Ireland. Cork Athletics is the governing body, administering athletics, track and field (T&F), cross-country (XC) and running in county Cork. The Board comprises elected representatives of constituent athletic clubs and running clubs. Cork County Board AAI organises Championship races and competition, including road, track & field (T&F) and Cross-country (XC), at junior, juvenile, senior and masters levels, and selects representation for the county. In addition, training and education is provided for coaches and officials. The Board also regulates the Athletics Ireland race/event permit (licence) process for county Cork.
