Male and Female Winners, and Extracted Cork Results
A small, but highly successful contingent of Cork athletes made their way to Dublin for today's Biofreeze Irish Runner 5K, in Phoenix Park
The event was won by Kieran Kelly, Raheny Shamrock AC, in 14:30, while the Women's event was won by Junior athlete, Amy Greene, Finn Valley AC, 63rd, in 16:43. Leevale AC's Hannah Steeds was just 5 seconds adrift, taking Womens Silver in 16:48, in 66th place
There was individual Gold for Mallow AC's Breda Gaffney, who won the F50 title in 209th place overall, and 19:10.
Grange Fermoy AC's M50 Team took Gold, with Seamus McSweeney (87th, 17:12), John Murphy (106th, 17:28) and Keelan O'Connor (111th, 17:35) being the scoring three, with Johnny O'Sullivan (118th, 17:45) anchoring the team
