Update 2pm Saturday 12th February

In an everchanging situation, Athletics Ireland has agreed to accept cash at the gate for tomorrow's Cross-Country. If you already have a ticket, it remains valid

If you do not have a ticket, cash will be accepted. However there will be NO CARD PAYMENT facility available - its Cash or Ticket

 

Entry is free for Under 16's and Adults pay €10 each

 

Issues with the Athletics Ireland online ticket system were brought to AAI's attention yesterday, however it was felt that there was no issue with the system, and that the problem lay with the end-user perhaps not being computer literate. AAI now admits that there is a problem with the system

Access to the venue is Cashless only - Tickets must be bought beforehand. Under 16's go free, and competing athletes will also be admitted free of charge (They have already paid their entry fee)

 

Update 20:00pm Friday 11th

Following enquiries, it appears that anyone arriving without a Ticket will be asked to use their phone to buy their ticket(s), and reapproach the turnstiles once they have done this

About Us

Cork Athletics County Board is a constituent member of Athletics Ireland. Cork Athletics is the governing body, administering athletics, track and field (T&F), cross-country (XC) and running in county Cork. The Board comprises elected representatives of constituent athletic clubs and running clubs. Cork County Board AAI organises Championship races and competition, including road, track & field (T&F) and Cross-country (XC), at junior, juvenile, senior and masters levels, and selects representation for the county. In addition, training and education is provided for coaches and officials. The Board also regulates the Athletics Ireland race/event permit (licence) process for county Cork.
