Munster Schools Cross-Country Championships Postponed Due to Status Orange Weather Alert

Fridays Munster Schools Cross-Country Championships have been postponed due to Met Éireann's Status Orange weather alert, with snow, sleet, winds and cold temperatures forecast

Weather forecast for noon Friday February 18th - Sleet, snow and freezing temperatures

Statement from Munster Schools Athletics Association

Issued 9pm Wednesday February 16th

"To schools athletics officials. The Munster schools cross country has been postponed, due to the orange weather warning in place on Friday next. The fixture is rescheduled for Thursday March 3rd.

Officials and others will be contacted, in due course, regarding arrangements, and your availability for that date"
