Vivian Foley Closing in on the 2017 Dublin Marathon finish
Some 26 Cork athletes were listed to start today's 126th Boston marathon, sadly some didn't make the start line. Twenty five (25) of them completed the distance (with apologies to anyone missed)
Pride of place, and, indeed, the honours go to Eagle AC's Vivian Foley, who not only led the Cork contingent home, but also secured the M50 Silver medal, in a time of 2:33:32
Another notable achievement today was St Finbarrs AC's John McCann's completion of the Abbott World Marathon Majors: Boston, Chicago, Tokyo, London, Berlin and New York
