Searchable Athletics Ireland Events Calendar

"Athletics Ireland are delighted to launch our new Ultimate Running Events Calendar which is the 'go-to' place when looking for you next running challenge. This calendar is an online resource for runners of all levels and abilities and will showcase all of the Athletics Ireland permitted events around the country

The calendar will soon become the most comprehensive list of live permitted running events in Ireland including; 5K & 10K fun runs/ walks, Half Marathons, Marathons and Ultra Marathons. The calendar will automatically update as fixtures become approved on the Athletics Ireland permit system. You'll also be able to see what events are due to open for registration soon, so you'll never miss another step in planning your running schedule"

This updated calendar is a welcome addition, however it has it's limitations, as it doesn't include any of Athletics Ireland's own fixtures/championships - These can be found at Athletics Ireland Fixtures, while coaching fixtures can be found on yet another AAI calendar, the coaching events calendar

AAI Coaching Events Calendar

Cork Athletics Events Calendar

The Cork Athletics Calendar includes AAI sanctioned events in County Cork, along with those in counties imediately adjacent to Cork, i.e. all Munster Counties with the sole exception of Co. Clare.  Munster. National, European and World Championships, and the Olympics, are also listed, along with Coaching events, and athletics offerings from Cork Sports Partnership. It also includes basic information on other athletics/running  bodies, such as IMRA and Cork BHAA.  Finally selected international events are listed, such as the Diamond Leagues, some World Athletics T&F meets, and the marathon Majors, plus other Marathons abroad that are likely to have Cork interest

The Runners Diary Calendar

Another calendar worth checking is the Runners Diary calendar, a new venture added by the increasingly popular Podcast run by Brian Ahern and Damian Kenneally

The Searchable AAI Calendar
