In order to effectively host the upcoming Juvenile T&F County Championships we will require approximately 50 to 60 stewards. Their Roles will include:

  • Check-In
  • Start Line Co-Ordination
  • Finish Line Recording
  • Long Jump
  • Shot Put
  • Hurdle Set Up

Each club is expected to provide stewards to assist on each day of the event. Those who are County Board Officiers and/or Officials are considered as County representatives, and not Club representatives, for the purpose of these events

We ask for your co-operation and assistance with the following:

1. Each club to e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with a list of their stewards. Days 1 and 2 should be provided by 23:59 next Tuesday night (2nd May), and should include both the name and telephone number for each of the stewards. If a nominated steward is only available for part of the day a replacement/back-up should also be provided

2. Where possible, clubs should send one representative to the UCC Mardyke Track for 4:30pm on Saturday 29th April, to discuss stewarding requirements. This would be greatly appreciated. The meeting point will be beside Red-Brick Pavillion, which is next to the track, on the western end (riverside). You will be met there by members of the Juvenile T&F sub-committee

Thank you, Michel Flynn
